  • Theis a one-of-a-kind opportunityÌýcreated to enhanceÌýyour success asÌýa second-yearÌýstudent at OSU.Ìý​

  • ÌýThrough interaction with a STEPÌýFaculty Mentor and aÌýsmall group of peers, you willÌýhave the opportunity toÌýengage in a trulyÌýtransformational experience across theÌýcourse ofÌýyour second year.ÌýÌý​

  • Fall semester is focused onÌýcommunity building, goalÌýsetting, personal growthÌýand identity exploration throughÌýengagingÌýdiscussions and activities.ÌýÌý​

  • In the spring semester,Ìýyour Faculty Mentor will guide youÌýthrough theÌýprocess of crafting a proposal for aÌýSTEPÌýSignatureÌýProject.​

ELIGIBILITY:Ìý Eligible if graduated high school the previous year.

The Importance of STEP

  • Develop a meaningful relationship with a facultyÌýmember.Ìý Dr. Dan Linden and Dr. Eric Williams are the faculty mentors onÌýthe Wooster/ATIÌýCampus​

  • In the fall, expand your network of peers through weeklyÌýcohortÌýmeetings that will be taking placeÌývirtually.​

  • IdentifyÌýways to enhance your personal, academic andÌýcareerÌýgoals.​

  • Strengthen your communication and networking skills withÌýsupportÌýfrom peers and a faculty mentor committed toÌýyourÌýsuccess​

  • Receive a fellowship up toÌý$2000.00 to engage in one ofÌýtheÌýsixÌýSTEP SignatureÌýProject areas.
